Tydings announces that Gregory M. Garrett has been named a partner effective January 1, 2013.

Greg’s practice focuses on health care, antitrust/trade regulation, and commercial litigation. His litigation experience includes general commercial litigation, business torts, professional malpractice defense, and insurance coverage cases.
He is Vice-Chair of the Exemptions and Immunities Committee of the Antitrust Section of the ABA. Before his appointment, he wrote numerous articles and book chapters on antitrust issues for the Committee, including "Brady v. NFL - Intentional Grounding of an Implied Antitrust Exemption," which was published in the Antitrust & Trade Regulation Report in July 2011. The 2013 edition of Maryland Super Lawyers magazine recognized Greg as a "Rising Star" for his business litigation, professional liability-defense, and products liability-defense practices. This marks the fourth consecutive year that he has received this recognition.
He attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was an Assistant Associate Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review. He won first place in the Center for International & Comparative Law’s 2005 student essay competition, and was the Team Captain of The Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
