Tydings is pleased to announce it has achieved recertification in Meritas, the premier global alliance of independent business law firms. As a condition of its membership, all member firms must complete recertification every three years based on a rigorous review of their commitment to quality standards and exceptional client service. A proud and active member, our attorneys have held several leadership roles within Meritas over the last 20 years.
Meritas is the only law firm alliance that has an established and comprehensive means of monitoring the quality of its member firms. This process saves clients time by prequalifying law firm credentials and experience.
Meritas membership is selective and by invitation only. Firms are regularly assessed and recertified for the breadth of their practice expertise, client satisfaction, and high levels of cybersecurity to keep legal information safe. Meritas’s extensive due diligence process ensures that only firms meeting the tenets of its unique quality assurance program can retain Meritas membership.
“Our commitment to quality aligns with the Meritas mission to give clients peace of mind when working with their highly vetted member firms,” said Melissa Jones, one of Tydings’ member contacts.
Dan Katz, Tydings’ other Meritas member contact, adds, “We’ve successfully collaborated with colleagues worldwide to solve our clients’ issues and help them enter and expand into new markets and industries. We look forward to strengthening those vital connections through membership in Meritas.”
“Businesses trust the quality of our member firms and appreciate our extensive collective capabilities. Meritas is easy to work with – clients tap into any member firm and access responsive, on-the-ground expertise in markets important to their success,” said Sona Pancholy, president of Meritas. “Tydings has demonstrated these world-class legal standards, and we’re thrilled to have them continue their alliance with Meritas.”
Founded in 1990, Meritas has member firms worldwide in more than 240 markets with nearly 8,500 dedicated, collaborative lawyers.
