Tydings & Rosenberg LLP, a Baltimore law firm that serves individuals and businesses in Maryland, D.C., and Virginia, through its offices in Baltimore and Towson, welcomes Michael J. Lentz as a partner and Brianna G. Pickhardt as an associate in its litigation, bankruptcy/creditors’ rights, and business departments.
Mr. Lentz is a partner in the firm’s litigation and business departments as well as its estates and trusts practice group. He has 25 years of experience representing and advising businesses, and the people who own and manage them in commercial litigation, transactional matters, and day-to-day corporate governance. Mr. Lentz also represents trustees, personal representatives, and beneficiaries in fiduciary litigation. His commercial litigation practice includes matters ranging from routine contract or employment disputes to bet-the-company litigation, in industries such as commercial and agricultural lending, health care, financial services, and construction.
Ms. Pickhardt is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. She represents businesses and their owners in commercial and fiduciary litigation, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights matters. Her litigation experience includes serving as part of the trial team that won a defense verdict, including a $300,000 attorneys’ fees award, for a private equity fund sued by a former employee; second-chairing a million-dollar lawsuit by a trust beneficiary against the Trustee of the trust that resulted in removal of the Trustee and a transfer of trust property to the beneficiary; and second-chairing the defense of a specific performance action that resulted in a defense verdict and a substantial attorneys’ fees award, both of which were upheld on appeal.
Diane D’Aiutolo, the firm’s managing partner, remarks, “We are very pleased to have Michael and Brianna join the firm. Their combined experience complements our business and litigation practices and will provide an added benefit to our clients and the firm.”
