Casey D. Brinks

"No individual or business looks forward to the designation 'Defendant,' especially when careers, reputations, and bottom lines are at stake. My goal is to not only defeat or reach a favorable resolution of claims but to guide my clients through the process with reassurance and clarity."

Leveraging the extensive trial experience he gained as a prosecutor as well as his persuasive and compelling written and oral advocacy, Casey zealously defends the interests of businesses, employers, and professionals in premises liability, personal injury, employment, and medical malpractice matters.

As patient, candid, and straightforward in his advice as he is strategic, creative, and effective in the courtroom, Casey works closely with his clients to ensure they are always fully informed and understand the risks and advantages of a given approach to their case. Whether working with a health care provider whose reputation and livelihood hang in the balance or discussing a portfolio of claims with an insurance adjuster who requires thorough yet succinct reports and updates, Casey knows what each client needs and expects from their attorney and calibrates his counsel accordingly.

Prior to entering private practice, Casey served as an assistant state's attorney in Baltimore City, where he prosecuted homicides and other serious felony cases. He has first-chaired more than 40 jury and non-jury trials, showcasing a depth and breadth of courtroom experience far exceeding that of most of his contemporaries.
